Gotta Blog Need Traffic?

kasip Phillips-blogIn my online research I discovered there is a lot of speculation on how to make money with a blog among people that I have spoken to about it. They don’t understand the concept or the work that it takes. In the beginning, I couldn’t agree more.”The how to” method has been over  strained or saturated beyond belief. I will admit that getting blog traffic is one of the most tedious activities if I can call it that.

There are tons of free methods to getting more blog traffic and paid ones also, but I personally would like to keep it to a select few rather than blog til my fingers bleed.

According to Internet World Stats nearly 2 billion latest users and growing are on the net. You would think after those numbers that no one should have a traffic problem. Although, when you think of niches and numerous categories to choose from and secrets on how to squeeze some link juice your way, that doesn’t seem likely the case.

There are factors that you have to consider before sticking your thumb out to hitch a ride in wave of traffic to get back to home base. These are a few real life questions you need to answer before getting hit and gaining leverage. Here is a question that I was asked about blogging and having a website for those that were vaguely interested. This was the conversation that I should have recorded.

How Should My Site Look To Get And Keep Readers?

Answer:  Simple works but search behavior and eye candy contradicts to a degree. I mean who are these people and what the hell do they want? Studies show that 58% of Americans research products online at the same time 57% of Americans Google themselves. (their name)

Does that mean that only 1-5% actually make a living online? According to James Schramko of Internet Marketing Speed, only 48% of people actually make less than 10k a year online. That is sad to say but the remaining are just paying for a service per month to entertain themselves?

What Can I Offer Customers?

Answer: Don’t sell…Market. I found that people will purchase just a about anything if you make them believe in it much as you believe in what your selling. That’s online and offline meaning television and other advertising. I found that developing your own product can be the ultimate solution to help people with a strong need or demand in a market.

I found that search behavior and buying power are not just stats to figure out profit margins but a window of opportunity.
